Everything You Need to Know About Things to Do in Merzouga
We recommend a minimum of two nights. One night lets you do a sunset camel trek and stargazing. Two nights gives you time to add quad biking, the village tour, and a slow morning watching the light change on the dunes. Three or more nights is ideal for photographers and anyone who really wants to disconnect from everything.
Absolutely. Merzouga is one of the most family-friendly destinations in Morocco. Our camel treks use the gentlest animals and always have a guide walking alongside. Sandboarding is brilliant for kids. The overnight camps have proper toilet facilities, and we can arrange custom menus for fussy eaters. We’ve welcomed families with babies, toddlers, and teenagers—all had the time of their lives.
In peak seasons (October to April), yes — especially the overnight camps, which fill up. In summer, advance booking is less critical but still recommended to guarantee the best camps and guides. We suggest booking at least 2–3 weeks ahead for group travel and 1 week for solo or couple trips. You can reach us directly via WhatsApp for same-week inquiries.
